The Vultures’ Nest on 2SER

The Vultures’ Nest is a radio program on Sydney’s 2SER (107.3 FM).

Ever wondered why the news can’t be more fun?  So have the members of The Vultures’ Nest (who decided to do something about it)!  The program is a weekly review of some of the tastiest news and culture of the week. Comedy makes news a lot more palatable and that is a philosophy that the Vultures’ Nest program adheres to in its approach to news and culture each week.  Sure, they look for interesting news and culture stories, but they also look for the funny in what they find.

The show is regularly hosted by comedian Sean Morahan and includes regular comedian guests including: Ray Cashman, Te Rina Taite, Scott Thomson, Thao Thanh Cao, Peter Gleeson, Ben Willshaw  and more.  While comedy is not necessarily the main focus of the show, it does try to engage the comedy mindset from its guests to get some lighter perspectives on what is happening in the world.

Every week The Vultures swoop (ok, maybe it’s more like an uncoordinated flop) on a few news/culture morsels, drag them back to the nest and tear them apart for your information and entertainment.

The show is broadcast live from 2SER’s main studios on Broadway in Sydney.  You can listen to the program on Saturdays from 10.30 am on 2SER 107.3 or catch up with past shows online here: http://2ser.com/the-vultures-nest/
